Fun with Zulu knots!
The Future Professionals at The Hair Academy in Rexburg recently learned the wonderful art of Zulu knots! Not only are Zulu knots a fun style, they have a unique history. The Future Professionals discovered that Zulu knots originated from the Bantu Tribes in West Africa hundreds of years ago. A small branch of these tribes became known as the Zulu and were known for their tradition of ?knotting? their hair into multiple one inch sections. This technique can be applied to create many different styles depending on how long you choose to leave the knots in place. After being released, the knots create waves in the hair. Here are several fun examples!
